Oracle Lead for the DWH/Cash By Business Line:
- Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, enhancements and maintenance of the ODS component and oracle part of other components in DWH/Cash By Business Line for all locations.
- Overall Lead the oracle technology knowledge area within DWH/Cash By Business Line team; develop and implement best practices
- Performance improvement of the ODS component and oracle application & infrastructures of other components in DWH/Cash By Business Line system
- Develop the technical and functional knowledge base in oracle technology within the DWH/Cash By Business Line team.
- Participate in technical board (council) to take technical decisions and respond & resolve the technical issues in oracle applications and infrastructures for DWH/Cash By Business Line.
- Understand and anticipate the consequences of technical decisions for other projects or departments. Communicate and coordinate with respective teams proactively.
- Work closely with all stake holders to ensure that application meets project objectives
- Reports to Manager – DWH/Cash By Business Line.
- Ensure the quality and process adherence in total
- Assist the DWH/Cash By Business Line in estimation of changes or new implementations
- Coordinate with infrastructure team to ensure stable infrastructure & system environments
- Plan resources (both developers & Infrastructure) requirement for the DWH program before hand and work with DWH Manager to execute them.
- There may on occasion be the requirement to liaise with team members and stakeholders in
other locations with potential for international travel.
- There may also be an occasion to work after office hours to meet important project needs Sr. Developer (Oracle)
WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
- Min 10 years of experience in oracle & unix technology out of which 4 to 5 years experience in
Technical Lead/Architect role preferably in Financial Industry
- Experience with data warehouse projects, operations and tuning
- Experience as technical owner of a component in Oracle
- Experience in leading a team of 5 to 10 members
- Client Relationship Management experience
- Financial Reporting & General Ledger
- Experienced in ERP implementations
- Experienced in the design and implementation of systems that process high-volume transactions
TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Oracle Database application development in 9i, 10G (10 yrs+)
- Unix (5 yrs+)
- Strong database and database modeling skills
- Experience in performance tuning of Oracle applications
- Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence architecture and design in oracle
- Full SDLC experience (requirements to QA)
- Erwin DB modeling experience
- Java (3 yrs+)
- Power Centre (3 yrs+)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability and agility to provide technical problem solving in complex environment.
- Willingness and ability to cooperate with other component owners & teams (such as Power Centre, Business objects etc)
- Excellent English skills (oral and written)
